Dubludes: So then man, why the name Dexx?
Dexx: Well my name is Dexter and everyone called me dexx for short and i also thought it would be perfect since it sounds like Decks which is music related
Dubludes: what was your first experience of dubstep?
Dexx: My first dubstep experience was when one of my mates played me wheres my money (caspa remix) ages ago
Dubludes: Was it then that dubstep took you?
Dexx: At that time i wasn't too sure if i liked it because i wasn't too sure what to think of it
but after i started listening to more artist like Benga, Skream, Dz and that i started getting into it a bit more
Dubludes: How long have you been producing for?
Dexx: I've been producing for about 5 years now but dubstep i would say about a year or 2
Dubludes: What music did you produce for the other 3 years?
Dexx: Before dubstep i produced grime & bassline beats and also tried a bit of drum and bass but couldn't hack itt
Dubludes: What do you do in your spare time while not producing?
Dexx: When im not producing i just go out and chill with some mates or do whatever comes up really, and also i also try to get involved in anything to do with music or creativity
Dubludes what software do you use for producing?
Dexx: At the moment I’m using Reason 4 but want to try out cubase & Logic
Dubludes: And finally what can we expect see from Dexx in the future?
Dexx: Well since now i think i've finally found my sound you should expect bigger tunes and releases and atm im trying to do more remixes so watch out for them and will try and get more Ep's and albums out there later on in the year
